Lina and the Magic Bin
Once upon a time, in a small town full of trees and flowers, there lived a little girl named Lina. She loved playing in the yard and painting the sky. But lately, she had noticed that there was a lot of trash in the streets and in the park. Bottles, papers, and bags were thrown everywhere!
One afternoon, while Lina was walking to the playground, she saw a strange bin with colorful lids. It had eyes, a mouth… and it could talk!
— “Hello, Lina!” said the bin.
— “You… you can talk?” Lina asked, surprised.
— “I’m the Magic Recycling Bin! I’m looking for children who love the Earth to help me!”
Lina was excited and listened carefully.
— “You can feed me with paper, plastic, and aluminum! When you sort them right, I turn them into new things: toys, clothes, even park benches!”
Lina grabbed a bag and started picking up trash from the park. She sorted it: the plastic bottle went into the blue lid, the paper into the green one, and the can into the yellow one. The bin smiled widely.
